Book your visitPLANTAR FASCIITIS & HEEL PAIN · MERRICK, NY
Discuss heel discomfort that makes the first steps of the day, work or exercise difficult.

UNDERSTANDING THE CONCERN
The plantar fascia supports the arch along the bottom of the foot. Plantar fasciitis commonly causes discomfort near the heel, especially with the first steps after rest. Heel pain has other possible causes, so an examination helps distinguish among them.
Describe your first steps in the morning, time spent standing and changes in activity or footwear. Tell Dr. Veltre about previous care and whether pain is limited to the heel or extends elsewhere.
WHAT YOU MAY NOTICE
Use these examples to describe your concern. Similar symptoms can have different causes; this list is not a diagnosis.
